This course offers a functional and foundational understanding of the travel writing industry, embracing all forms of travel writing, from blogs to Instagram posts to (scripted) TikTok travel videos, YouTube videos, and beyond.

My teaching philosophy is centered on encouraging students to think critically about themselves and their place in the world. We achieve this through course writing assignments, which are designed to be introspective while adhering to rigorous academic writing standards.
