Student Learning Outcomes: Upon
completion of the course, students will demonstrate awareness of the basic
concepts for the study and analysis of drama, as well as a clear understanding
of the form, function, and development of the genre.
Required Texts: A
variety of texts, including current local productions, which will include works
of drama written for theatre, film, and television.
Assessment: There will be six required
responses to the set texts (to be posted on Laulima) (30%), two short midterms
(30%), and a final paper (an overview of which is to be presented to the class)
(30%), plus full attendance (10%).
