This course will provide an introduction to the
history of cinema, cinematic techniques, and cinematic genres from a global
perspective.

Requirements:
Attendance, film viewing (out of class–approximately one feature film per
week), daily quizzes, weekly response papers, a 4-5 page essay, final exam.
