This class focuses on the reading and writing of narrative prose fiction. Each week, students will read two published stories (approximately 35 pages) and two essays regarding the craft of fiction writing (8-10 pages), plus three student stories (roughly 25 pages). Each student will write three stories for class discussion (8 pages minimum). Students will take turns leading class discussions of both the student stories and the published work.
